Each participant receives a square rod and beats it into a round skewer using a hammer and anvil. In just a few steps you will create your own barbecue skewer. If you prefer, you can also forge a horseshoe or barbecue tongs - you will still be part of the barbecue fun. While you are getting involved, the blacksmith will tell you exciting facts about his craft and offer you a fascinating insight into the everyday life of a blacksmith.
Once the work is done, the fun begins: the grill is fired up and the participants can put their pieces of meat and vegetables from the lavish buffet onto the created skewers and put them to the test straight away. Incidentally, the culinary delicacies on this occasion literally "fall from the sky".
If the weather is bad or cold, you can grill indoors – which is why this option is also popular as a Christmas meal for employees or customers.
