Did you know that there is a fantastic alpine toboggan run here, over 7 km long? The small cable car takes you comfortably up to over 2000 meters to the Fiseten Pass. After a few steps you are at the start of the long, enjoyable descent into the valley. Have fun!

The cows have long gone down into the valley, the high valley is covered in deep snow. Did you know that Urnerboden is the largest cow pasture in Switzerland? Around 1300 cows spend the summer here. 25 people live in the mountain village (1380 m) during the winter. They look forward to your visit.
You start your little snowshoe tour directly from the village, where there is a lovely inn that you will soon get to know. A flat area, then up and down through forest clearings. Depending on how you feel, we can extend or shorten the tour. Finally, we cross the stream and return to the Urnerboden inn. Now the hunger sets in and you can look forward to a delicious fondue in the warm dining room.
You will need winter equipment to access the area if you are driving a car. The road from Linthal is cleared during the day, but it is sometimes closed at night (in the case of heavy snowfall). But you won't be out and about at that time of evening anyway. If you want to experience the real mountainous winter, you will get your money's worth here. Incidentally, there are also many great activities on the Urnerboden in summer.
