A little hike

From Filzbach you take the chairlift up to Habergschwänd. Then you hike in about 40 minutes to the “Mittleren Nüen” alp (or about 1 hour to the “Oberen Nüen” alp).

It's beautiful on the alp

Now it's time to milk the cow. Because without milk there's no cheese, right? Balance on the milking stool and milk your own glass of milk for the first time. After this workout, make yourselves comfortable for lunch: either outside for a barbecue or inside the alpine hut. Enjoy life on the mountain and the beauty of nature. In the afternoon experience first hand how milk is made into cheese. And as the day must end at some point, then it is time to head down the mountain.

Choose a product

  • Alpine raclette cheese: enjoy this with a fine meal in autumn. For example after a snowshoe tour on Nüenalp.
  • Alpine cheese-Mutschli: each person makes their own Mutschli.
  • Glarner Alpine cheese: the classic. Enjoyment from the Alp well into the winter.

And don't forget…

Life up here is simple. Many people don't even know that it still exists. The Alpine farmers, on the other hand, are young and dynamic! And the view of the Linth plain is absolutely enchanting.
